1. Publisher and Website Information

The website book-ici.com is published and operated by Nextpoint Innovations Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under number 14724520. VAT registration number: 452744584.

Registered office: Suite F, Rear Office 48a High Street, Hadleigh, Ipswich, Suffolk, England, IP7 5AL.

Publication Manager: Adam Oldfield.

For any enquiry, customers are encouraged to reach the team via the chat available on the website or by email at: contact@book-ici.com.

The Website is delivered through Amazon Web Services (AWS), using Amazon CloudFront.

Accessing the website, opening an account or subscribing to any of the available offers constitutes full and unreserved acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

2. Scope and Application

These Terms govern customers purchasing or subscribing to Book ici services remotely.

The Concierge is available as one-off hourly packs or the monthly VIP 12h subscription. The Magazine is a separate recurring subscription.

Book ici acts as an intermediary for Concierge requests; services carried out by third-party providers remain their responsibility.

3. Description of Services

3.1 – The Concierge

The selected Concierge offer gives the customer a credit of assistance hours, enabling them to entrust Book ici with a wide range of organisational, coordination and research tasks.

Types of tasks that may be handled include in particular:

  • identifying solutions tailored to a specific need expressed by the customer,
  • preparing and tracking bookings of any kind,
  • coordinating travel, stays, appointments, events or routine administrative procedures,
  • sourcing and recommending suitable providers for a given situation,
  • reaching out to or following up with third-party contacts on the customer's behalf,
  • finding alternative solutions in the event of an unexpected issue or difficulty arising during a task,
  • preparing options for the customer's review and approval before any commitment is made.

The Concierge service does not cover areas falling within regulated professions and does not take on the material execution of tasks entrusted to third parties. Book ici reserves the right to decline any request that is unlawful, dangerous, disproportionate, contrary to public decency or manifestly outside the normal scope of the service.

Hours are deducted based on the time actually spent by the Book ici team on processing, follow-up, coordination and communications related to each request.

3.2 – The Magazine

The Magazine subscription provides access to a digital publication issued every week by Book ici, under its own editorial direction.

This service operates entirely independently from the Concierge: it includes no assistance hours, does not add to the hourly balance of an active Concierge offer, and may be taken out separately or alongside it.

Magazine content may include curated selections, recommendations, practical information, inspiration, thematic features and any other subject falling within Book ici's editorial scope.

4. Account Creation and Personal Space

Subscribing to any Book ici service requires the prior creation of a customer account. Users must provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information at this stage, including their identity, a valid email address, a phone number and valid payment details.

Once the account is activated, a personal space is made available, allowing customers to:

  • view active subscriptions,
  • update certain personal details,
  • review the history of requests submitted to the Concierge,
  • download invoices,
  • initiate a cancellation,
  • access the Magazine when the corresponding subscription is active.

Login credentials are strictly personal and confidential. The customer is solely responsible for keeping them secure and for all activity carried out from their account, until an unauthorised access is reported.

Book ici puts in place reasonable technical and organisational measures to secure access to the website, accounts and associated data.

5. Offers, Trial Period and Pricing

5.1 – Concierge

The 1h (€19.99), 3h (€29.99), 5h (€39.99), 7h (€49.99) and 9h (€59.99) assistance packs are one-off purchases. They do not include a trial period and do not renew automatically.

The VIP 12h offer is a monthly subscription at €69.99. For first-time subscribers, it begins with a three (3)-day trial charged at €0.01 inc. VAT. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, it automatically continues at €69.99 per month.

Hours are deducted progressively as time is spent processing requests.

5.2 – Magazine

The digital magazine subscription is available at a maximum of €7.60 per month (including VAT).

The first payment is not taken until the seventh (7th) day following the activation date. After this period, the subscription renews automatically at each billing date unless the customer cancels beforehand.

The Magazine subscription is open-ended and may be cancelled at any time. It is independent from the Concierge offer and cancelling one does not automatically cancel the other.

5.3 – Pricing Provisions

All displayed prices are inclusive of applicable taxes. Hourly packs are charged once. Recurring subscriptions may be billed in one or several equal instalments, at no extra cost, in accordance with the billing schedule shown before confirmation.

If pricing changes affect an active subscription, the customer will be notified in advance and may cancel before the new pricing takes effect.

VAT registration number: 452744584.

6. Payment, Invoicing and Renewal

Payments are made by card through the secure solution integrated into the website.

Hourly packs are charged in full when the order is confirmed. For a first VIP 12h subscription, the €0.01 trial charge is collected upon confirmation; the monthly amount is collected only if it is not cancelled before the trial ends.

Only recurring subscriptions renew. Hourly packs do not renew.

Receipts and invoices are available from the personal space or customer service.

7. Subscription Duration, Cancellation and Effects

Only the VIP 12h and Magazine subscriptions renew automatically at each billing date unless cancelled beforehand. Hourly packs are one-off purchases and do not renew.

Recurring subscriptions may be cancelled from the Contact page, personal space or online chat before the next billing date.

Cancelling VIP 12h does not cancel Magazine, or vice versa.

8. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory fourteen (14)-day withdrawal period from the purchase date for an hourly pack, or from the subscription date for the VIP 12h offer or Magazine.

This right may be exercised by means of any unambiguous statement clearly expressing the customer's wish to withdraw, in particular from the customer area, by email to contact@book-ici.com, or using the model withdrawal form set out below.

Where the right of withdrawal is validly exercised, Book ici will refund the amounts paid in respect of the relevant service within a maximum of fourteen (14) days of receiving the request.

If the customer has expressly requested that performance of the service begin before the end of the withdrawal period, they will remain liable for an amount proportionate to the service already provided up to the date of withdrawal. This rule applies to both the Concierge and the Magazine.

The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised in respect of services fully performed before the expiry of the legal period, where performance began with the customer's express prior consent and express waiver of the right of withdrawal, in the cases provided for by applicable law, including the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.

A model withdrawal form is available at the bottom of this page. You can view and print it at any time by clicking the button provided for this purpose.

9. Commercial Guarantee

Book ici offers a "satisfaction guarantee" commercial warranty.

Under this guarantee, customers may request a refund of their most recent subscription payment. This guarantee is separate from and independent of the statutory right of withdrawal referred to in the preceding article.

A refund request under this guarantee may only cover the most recent payment collected.

Requests may be submitted via the website chat, from the customer area, or by email to contact@book-ici.com. If the request is approved, the refund is processed within a maximum of fourteen (14) days.

This commercial guarantee supplements the customer's statutory rights and does not replace them.

10. Limitation of Liability

Book ici's activities fall within the scope of assistance, advisory support and intermediation. Its obligations are assessed in light of the nature of this role, and do not extend to outcomes achieved by any third parties involved.

Services materially performed by third-party providers remain the sole responsibility of those providers. Book ici cannot be held liable for delays, cancellations, non-performance, quality deficiencies or damages attributable to an external operator.

Book ici's liability may equally not be invoked in the event of temporary website unavailability, technical failure, force majeure, or where a request cannot be processed due to information that is incomplete, inaccurate or submitted late by the customer.

11. Personal Data Processing

In connection with access to the website and use of the services, personal data is collected and processed for the purposes of managing user accounts, tracking subscriptions, handling concierge requests, administering the customer relationship, issuing invoices, maintaining service security and complying with applicable legal obligations.

Some of this data may be shared with authorised technical providers, the hosting company or the payment processing partner, strictly to the extent necessary for service delivery or as required by law. Book ici does not store complete banking details.

Public Website content is delivered through Amazon CloudFront's global network. Personal data is processed by authorised service providers under appropriate contractual and security safeguards.

Any user may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability by sending a request to: contact@book-ici.com. Customers also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's supervisory authority for data protection. For further information, please refer to the Privacy Policy available on the website.

12. Complaints, Mediation and Disputes

The Book ici customer service team is available via chat on the website, from the personal space or at contact@book-ici.com for any information request, complaint or dispute notification.

An amicable resolution is always sought before any formal proceedings are initiated.

Should a disagreement persist, consumer customers may refer the matter free of charge to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme.

13. Governing Law, Jurisdiction and Language

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales for customers whose habitual residence is outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom.

For consumers residing within the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence remain fully enforceable, including those under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.

The competent jurisdiction is determined in accordance with applicable legal rules, in particular those arising from private international law instruments and, where relevant, the Rome I and Brussels I bis Regulations.

These Terms and Conditions are available in several languages. In the event of any discrepancy between two versions, the version in the customer's language prevails. For customers based in the United Kingdom, the English version constitutes the reference text.
