This skill-based contest is organized by:

2. Nature of the Contest

This is a skill-based contest, not a sweepstakes, lottery, or game of chance. Winners are determined solely on the basis of objective performance — accuracy of answers and response speed. No element of chance is involved at any stage of the selection process.

3. Eligibility

Participation is open to individuals who:

• Are at least 18 years old at the time of entry
• Reside in an eligible jurisdiction where skill-based contests are permitted by law
• Complete the quiz and provide accurate registration information

Only one entry per person is permitted. Employees of Book-ici, its affiliates, and their immediate family members are not eligible.

4. How to Participate

To enter, participants must:

1. Complete the online quiz, which consists of 5 multiple-choice general knowledge questions presented one at a time
2. Answer all questions — a chronometer records total elapsed time in milliseconds, from the start of the quiz to the submission of the final answer
3. Provide their first name, last name, and email address in the form displayed after completion
4. Submit the entry to be ranked

An entry is validated once all required steps are completed.

5. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase is necessary to participate or to win. Access to certain optional benefits or offers presented after the quiz may involve a separate membership, but participation in the contest and eligibility to win are entirely independent of any purchase or membership.

6. Winner Selection — Skill-Based Ranking

Winners are selected on a purely objective, skill-based basis:

• Qualifying criterion: the participant must answer all 5 questions correctly
• Tie-breaker: the participant’s total completion time, measured in milliseconds
• Prize tier: the Top 10 participants — all correct answers and the shortest completion times — are declared winners

No random drawing, lottery, or chance-based mechanism is used at any stage.

7. Live Ranking and Final Standing

The leaderboard remains active and updatable for the entire duration of the contest. A participant currently in the Top 10 may be displaced by a faster qualifying participant before the contest closes. Final winners are determined only at the end of the contest period, based on the final standing of the leaderboard.

8. Contest Period

The contest opens upon publication of the quiz and closes on September 30, 2026 at 23:59 (organizer’s local time). Entries submitted after the closing date will not be considered.

9. Prize

Each of the Top 10 winners will receive:

• A €100 coupon

The prize:

• Is non-transferable
• Cannot be exchanged for cash or any other equivalent
• May be subject to availability and partner conditions where applicable

10. Winner Notification

Winners will be contacted at the email address provided during entry within a reasonable period following the close of the contest. If a winner cannot be reached or fails to respond within a reasonable time, the next-ranked qualifying participant may be substituted.

11. Data Protection

Personal data collected during participation is used for:

• Managing entries and the contest leaderboard
• Contacting winners and delivering prizes
• Improving our services

12. Customer Reviews

After completing the quiz, participants may be invited to leave an optional rating or written review. Submission of a review is not required to enter the contest, to be ranked, or to be eligible to win.

13. Liability

The organizer is not responsible for:

• Technical issues affecting participation (e.g., browser performance, internet connectivity, device limitations affecting timing accuracy)
• Incomplete, lost, or delayed entries
• Events outside its reasonable control

By participating, the entrant agrees that the organizer’s total liability is limited to the value of the advertised prize.

14. Modification or Cancellation

The organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest at any time in the event of fraud, technical failure, or any other cause beyond its reasonable control that compromises the fairness or integrity of the contest.

15. Governing Law

This contest is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising in connection with this contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London, United Kingdom.

16. Acceptance

By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by the decisions of the organizer, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the contest.
